The adjacent screen shot at right shows Photoshop 3's type tool dialog box with a leading setting of one. As can be seen, there is no problem.               he second screen shot is the type tool dialog box from Photoshop 4. The same font with the same size is used. Once again note that there is no problem.                       he third screen shot is of the type tool dialog box from Photoshop 5. I have also included a portion of the canvas at the left side. Photoshop 5 allows the type to be previewed on the canvas. Once again the same font, size and leading is used as in previous examples. This time however there is a serious problem that renders a leading setting of 1 unusable if the return key is hit. The easy solution is to not hit the return key. Just place each line of text on a separate layer and manually position it. The auto kern check box and the justification settings do not appear to have any effect.
